POLICY

Dear visitor (hereinafter, also “User”), we inform you that cookies are used within the portal, accessible at the address https://www.cfrex.xyz/ (hereinafter, also the “Portal”). Through this notice, also prepared pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation EU 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (hereinafter “Regulation” and/or “GDPR”); of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 – amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018 – (hereinafter the “Privacy Code”); as well as current privacy legislation, we explain what cookies are, how we collect personal data connected to them, for what purposes, and what your rights are.

WHAT ARE COOKIES, WEB BEACONS, AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES?

Cookies: are small portions of code that the websites visited by the user send to the browser, where they are stored to be retransmitted to the same sites during navigation or on the user's next visit. During navigation, the user may receive on their device cookies sent from different sites or web servers (so-called “third-party” cookies), which may host some elements (such as images, maps, sounds, specific links to pages of other domains) on the site being visited. In this way, for example, cookies allow and/or facilitate access to certain internet pages to improve the user's navigation (i.e., they allow the storage of visited pages and other specific information, such as the most frequently visited pages, connection errors, etc.), or enable profiling activities.

Web beacons: are pieces of code that allow a website to transfer or collect information through the request of an electronic image. Electronic images, including advertising banners, allow the tracking of visited web pages or to check if the page has been viewed by the user. Web beacons can be used for various purposes, such as analyzing the use of websites, monitoring and reporting on advertisements, and personalizing advertisements and content.

Similar technologies: are technologies that allow treatments similar to those possible through cookies. These tools store data in the browser using local storage systems, such as flash cookies, HTML5 cookies, and other methods and/or software for web applications. These technologies work in all browsers. In some cases, the use of local storage cannot be fully managed by browsers, but requires specific tools from the data controller.

TYPES OF COOKIES USED BY THE PORTAL

Pursuant to the GDPR and the Guidelines, the Owner guarantees that only so-called "technical" and "analytical" cookies are installed on the Portal by default, where the latter are legitimately equated to the former.

The Portal uses "Google Analytics" services - web analysis services provided by Google, a third party with respect to the Owner - which allow analyzing the interaction of Users with the Portal (e.g., number of pages visited, number of clicks made). The Owner has used the function of anonymizing the User's IP addresses - which takes place when the data is transmitted to Google's systems - in order to make them unidentifiable. The implementation of this Google Analytics setting allows anonymizing the IP address by setting the value 0 in place of the final part of the IP.

For the installation - if any - of profiling cookies, optional, specific, free, and informed consent from the User is required, which can be given for each cookie category through the appropriate cookie banner. The User retains the possibility to change the choices made at any time.
